It is completely normal to feel anxious after experiencing things like this while sleeping. As our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAWW), peace and blessings be upon him, taught us, a true dream is one of the forty six parts of prophecy, while bad or disturbing dreams come from the devil simply to cause us grief and fear. He guided us to seek refuge in Allah when we see something unsettling and to trust that it cannot harm us.
Both of your dreams are deeply connected and carry a very clear message. In the first dream, feeling an unseen evil presence chasing you indoors points to hidden anxieties, worldly distress, or even jealousy and negative energy from your surroundings. However, the most beautiful part of this dream is your reaction. Reciting Surah Al Ikhlas, Al Falaq, An Nas, and Ayatul Kursi, and actually feeling the evil weaken, means that Allah has granted you a powerful spiritual shield. Your faith is actively fighting off harm. Since its a positive for you, MashaALLAH!
The second dream carries a similar warning. According to classical interpretations, an old woman can sometimes represent the deceitful nature of this world. Someone trying to perform sihr on you at a gathering like a wedding indicates hidden malice or envy from people, possibly even those familiar to you. The fact that she offered you a tasbeeh shows that a trial or deception might come disguised as something innocent or even religious. But your soul is awake, and your constant repetition of Bismillah shows that the name of Allah is your ultimate barrier against any deceit.
Because these dreams are warning you about envy or unseen negativity, I strongly advise you to do Sadqa on a daily basis. It can be a very small amount, but do it regularly. Our Prophet told us that charity stands in the way of calamities and that Sadqa will consume many evils. I also highly suggest that you recite Darood Shareef frequently throughout the day. It acts as a sadqa as well, and Allah showers immense blessings on whoever recites it.
