The Radiant Bed andThe Quiet Baby
I dreamed that I was returning from work (I work in a hospital) wearing my duty/work clothes, feeling busy as if I was coming back from a period of preoccupation. At the beginning of the dream, I saw my mother. Then, I saw a newborn baby boy who was very quiet and sleeping peacefully. He was placed on a high, white elevated surface, and he was wrapped or swaddled in a blue blanket (swaddle). I stood looking at him, feeling surprised and wondering why he was there, but I did not give him much attention or care, and I didn't carry him.
Instead, I walked away and entered my own bedroom. The door of my room was open all the way. Inside, I saw a new bed that was placed exactly where my old bed used to be. I was standing at the door looking at it in absolute amazement. The bed was large, intended for two people (a double bed). The mattress and the bed structure itself were thick and elevated high upwards, but the bed was positioned low to the ground without a large gap underneath. It was covered with a very neat, tidy, and clean white duvet.
The most striking part was that a strong, bright, and steady yellow light was radiating directly from the bed itself, lighting up that specific area. Meanwhile, the rest of my room remained with its usual, dim, and dull lighting that I currently have in reality. In the dream, I was standing there deeply amazed by the brightness of the bed, and I found myself wishing that the rest of my room would change to match it as well. I also found myself wondering in astonishment how this large bed managed to fit through my room's door and who could have placed it there."
